I don’t know if I can be hypnotized and if I can, will it work? Almost everyone thinks that, and it is normal! It will work if you let it, and you have to want to improve. Not just say you do, you have to want to. You have to be willing to work with what ever it is you bought the CD for. You can never be made to do anything you don’t want to do, in hypnosis. I can not make you improve! It is very easy, just follow along and don’t try to hard! It’s like day dreaming with no effort, no effort is involved!
The only requirements are that you relax, concentrate by following along and just let things take place. If you can concentrate and count to 10, you can be hypnotized! It’s that easy.
In reality we experience hypnosis everyday! Have you ever driven a car down the road and passed 2 or 3 streets without realizing it? Ever been watching TV and someone says something to you, and you don’t hear them? How about reading a book or newspaper and someone says something and you don’t hear them? Also day dreaming is a light form of hypnosis. What you are doing is concentrating on your thoughts (driving), focused on the TV or the Newspaper, and those are light forms of hypnosis.
What is hypnosis?
When a person is hypnotized, they are not asleep, unconscious or in some eerie trance state. The person is aware of everything that is taking place and aware of their surroundings. After being brought out of hypnosis, a person will be able to recall anything that took place during the session. Hypnosis is simply Profound Relaxation and Focused Concentration.
Physically, mentally, and emotionally you are going to be nice and relaxed. Like a dreaming state. Your mind will periodically wander, that is normal, do not be concerned just follow along.
What it feels like is: at night just before you enter sleep, you are laying in bed and you can hear sounds inside, and outside, and if someone asked you a question you could answer them, but you don’t want to because it feels to good. That is it. In bed you go to sleep, you need to stay awake in that hypnosis zone, because if you fall asleep you can not hear the suggestions at all. So sit up in a chair if you think you might fall asleep!
All hypnosis is SELF HYPNOSIS. Because you are the one that is actually doing it, by allowing yourself to relax and follow along. Oh, by the way, many many clients and internet customers have stated:"I didn’t think I could relax like that. I am normally hyper and I do not relax." You may surprise yourself with the method I use!
Tips for doing self-hypnosis at home 1. Hypnosis is a very enjoyable state of mind, similar to day dreaming, in which you become receptive to proper suggestions.
2. The effects are wonderful feelings of calmness, tranquility, and profound relaxation.
3. You will not be asleep or unconscious. You will always be aware of your surroundings.
4. The depth of hypnosis does vary with each person, however any depth is sufficient to break most habits. Each time you enter hypnosis after the first time it is natural to automatically go deeper.
5. You can not be hypnotized against your will. If you do not want to experience hypnosis, you won’t.
6. Most people who do experience hypnosis do not feel as if they have been hypnotized. It’s a common feeling. Do not be concerned. Simply follow the suggestions and watch for positive results!
